Automated Sample Introduction

GERSTEL offers solutions based on a range of sample introduction techniques that provide the highest possible sensitivity and reproducibility: liquid injection, large volume injection (LVI), headspace, dynamic headspace, SPME, and thermal desorption for the MultiPurpose Sampler (MPS).

The GERSTEL MultiPurpose Sampler (MPS) is an autosampler and sample preparation robot, compatible with all standard GC and GC/MS systems. The MPS performs all common sample introduction techniques.

Using the MAESTRO software's PrepAhead function, sample preparation steps are carried out during the analysis of the previous sample for optimal system utilization and the highest sample throughput.

Croda Automates Two GC Analyses with One GERSTEL Sampling Robot

Croda Nederland's QC laboratory has made a significant investment in automation. Recently, they implemented fully automated sample preparation using one sampling robot for two different GC analyses.

Da Vinci designed a configuration around the GERSTEL Dual Head MultiPurpose Sampler (MPS) featuring a Purge & Trap tool, a Roboticpro Head with various injection tools, and custom-written software.
